Beard Heads take a bite at Shark Tank….

Beard Head will be featured on Shark Tank Friday, December 11 (9:00-10:00 p.m., EST) on ABC Television Network. You will see the owner, David Stankunas, go up against Mark Cuban and the other Sharks. Do you need a white elephant gift?

We heard you were stressing out about what you should get as a white elephant gift? Well, we have came to save you from the embarrassment of a not-so-awesome white elephant gift. If you browse our new site, you’ll find it easier to find the perfect gift for this holiday season.

So, here are the rules for your White Elephant Gift Exchange:

1. Each player brings one wrapped gift to contribute to a common pool
2. Players draw names to determine what order they will go in
3. Players sit in a circle, line or wherever they can see the gift pile
4. The first player selects a gift from the pool and opens it
5. The following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift from the pool or steal a previous player’s gift. Anyone who gets there gift stolen in this way can do the same — chose a new gift or steal someone else.

CAUTION: There WILL be plenty of stealing, swapping and fighting if you chose to bring a Beard Head as your White Elephant Gift. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Beard Head Ambassador Chris Racing in Iceland!

Our incredible Beard Head Ambassador Chris K. rocked out his Beard Head swag during the 2013 Racing The Planet event in Iceland! The race requires competitors to traverse 250km of rough terrain over a week with only a tent & water provided. The event fundraises for medical & educational causes. Check out his incredible blog post on the race for more info!

Beard Head Sponsors Two More Events

Beard Head is always looking for creative ways to do good, and we just started working with two more great causes!

The first is the North Vs. South Beard and Mustache Competition hosted by Beardimus Maximus (click here to follow him on Twitter). The event is scheduled for Aug. 10th in Fredericksburg, VA. All proceeds will go to the Children’s Miracle Network and the YMCA. If you’re in that neck of the woods, you should check them out! Get more info here.

The Ride to Conquer Cancer

Beard Head was honored to help sponsor the Team Breezy Riders at the 2013 Ride to Conquer Cancer. The team rode over 270km in just 2 days on June 8-9th, and raised $2,500. The event overall raised over $19 million, all of which went to The Campbell Family Institute supporting The Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.
